മഴ പെയ്തു കുളിര്‍ അണിഞ്ഞു
തണലായി കാറ്റുവീശി.
ഏഴുവര്‍ണ്ണ പട്ടുടുത്ത്
മാരിവില്ല് വന്നുദിച്ചു.
മാരിവില്ലേ, നിന്‍ അഴക്‌
മാനമാകെ പൂക്കുന്നു.
പൊന്നഴകെ, എന്‍ മനസ്സില്‍
മായാതെന്നും നീ തിളങ്ങും.
നീലവാനിന്‍ മടിയില്‍നിന്ന്
നീ എങ്ങോ മായുമ്പോള്‍
എന്നും എന്നും കൊഴിയാതെ
നീ എന്‍ മനസ്സില്‍ പൂക്കുന്നു.

All things bright and beautiful
All things bright and beautiful,
All creatures great and small,
All things wise and wonderful,
The Lord God made them all.
Each little flower that opens,
Each little bird that sings,
He made their glowing colours,
He made their tiny wings.
The cold wind in the winter,
The pleasant summer sun
The ripe fruits in the garden
He made them everyone.
He gave us eyes to see them
And lips that we might tell,
How great is god almighty,
Who has made all things well…..

ഈറന്‍ മേഘങ്ങള്‍ തന്‍ മാസ്മരികതയില്‍
വീണ്ടുമൊരു കുളിര്‍ തെന്നല്‍
ആ സ്നേഹമഴയെ സ്നേഹിക്കാന്‍ മറന്നതെന്തേ ...?
സ്നേഹിക്കാന്‍ മറന്നെങ്കിലും
സ്നേഹത്തെ അറിഞ്ഞിരുന്നു
മറന്നതും അറിഞ്ഞതും ഇന്നിതാ എനിക്കന്യമാകുന്നു ...
ഒരു ഋതുഭേദത്തിന്‍ ഒടുവില്‍
കാലം മായിച്ചെഴുതിയ ആ സ്നേഹമഴക്കായി
ഇതാ വീണ്ടുമെന്‍ മനം തുടിക്കുന്നു
മനസ്സില്‍ നിന്നും മാഞ്ഞകലും സ്നേഹരൂപത്തെ
ശില്പിതന്‍ കലയിലൂടെ വീണ്ടും മെനഞ്ഞെടുത്തു!!!!!
എന്തിനെന്നറിയില്ലെങ്കിലും ആ സ്നേഹമഴക്കായി
ഞാനിതാ കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു ......
ഒരു നൊമ്പരത്തോടെ ഇതാ അറിയുന്നു ഞാന്‍.....
"കാലത്തെ മറന്നാലും കാലം തന്ന സ്നേഹത്തെ മറക്കരുത് ......"

Friendship
I saw you when I was alone
And I saw me when you were with me.
I was not confident when I was alone
Confidence became my hallmark when you were with me.
I couldn’t enjoy my success when I was alone
It was you who helped me to celebrate my little moments.
I couldn’t walk when my heart was sunk
You made me get up and cross over the current.
When I gave you half of my friendship
You gave me and gifted me with all your friendship in return.
I was in my shell, fearing to come out
You introduced me to the world and got me applause.
When I look into the world, I find me lost in crowd
When I look into you,
I find me at the centre of the stage.
And I saw me when you were with me.
